Thamesford corridor improvements

Oxford County is looking at making improvements to the Thamesford downtown corridor (Oxford Road 2/ Dundas Street) in Zorra Township to respond to increased traffic volumes from ongoing and future development in the area.
Some of these changes may include:
- removing on-street parking to add a centre two-way left turn lane between Stanley Street North and Allen Street/St. Patrick Street;
- the potential for new traffic signals at George Street and Oxford Road 119/Milton Street;
- intersection modifications to improve visibility; and,
- enhancing street lighting.
Attend the Public Information Centre on July 23
A Public Information Centre is being held to share plans with the public and discuss the project with Public Works Engineering staff and the design consultant.
