Water meter replacements

Oxford County is planning now for future water meter installations across Oxford County, beginning in Woodstock between 2027 and 2029. This is a planned replacement of meters used in homes now that are nearing the end of their working lifecycle.

Oxford County hosted an information night on water meters in Woodstock on July 28, 2026. This meeting helped explain what water meters do, how they support accurate billing, and how they help manage water use. County staff also shared information about potential new features available with advanced meters, and asked for feedback on these features.
