UPDATE: An online Public Consultation Centre (PCC) will take place on February 3, 2025, to share information about the study and answer questions. Please see details below.
About the study
Oxford County is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study to explore options for expanding the Drumbo Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to a capacity of above 600 m3 per day. This work will help determine the most appropriate solution to support the growing wastewater servicing needs of the Village of Drumbo in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim.
The Class EA Study will define the project, identify and evaluate alternative solutions, and develop preferred WWTP capacity expansion design concepts in consultation with the public, Indigenous communities, and regulatory agencies. Any potential impacts of the WWTP expansion alternatives on social, cultural, economic, and natural environments will be evaluated and assessed during the Class EA Study.
