Oxford Road 119 (Harris Street) and Clarke Road intersection improvements and Oxford Road 119 widening in Ingersoll


Oxford County is initiating a Harmonized Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study in the Town of Ingersoll to consider a range of alternative improvements to the Oxford Road 119 (Harris Street) and Clarke Road intersection. This study also includes widening of Oxford Road 119 from Clarke Road to Highway 401.

A Public Consultation Centre (PCC) to share information will be held:

Thursday, September 25, 2025
Drop in: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Ingersoll Town Hall – Council Chamber

About the Class EA Study

The purpose of this study is to:

  • Identify and evaluate alternative solutions for improving the intersection and widening Oxford Road 119
  • Select a preferred solution for transportation improvements
  • Evaluate and recommend a preferred design concept for the preferred solution

The Class EA Study will:

  • define the project;
  • identify and evaluate alternative solutions;
  • and determine a preferred alternative solution in consultation with the public, Indigenous communities and regulatory agencies.

Potential impacts of the intersection improvement alternatives on the social, cultural, economic and natural environments will be evaluated and assessed during the Class EA Study. For more information, read the public notice.
