Oxford County is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study to develop, evaluate and select a preferred long-term wastewater servicing solution, and a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) design alternative, to service existing needs and future projected population and employment growth to 2046 in the community of Norwich.

This will evaluate alternative solutions, with consideration for the natural, cultural, social, economic and technical environments, to develop a preferred WWTP capacity expansion design concept in consultation with the public, Indigenous communities, and regulatory agencies.

Public consultation

Public, Indigenous, and agency consultation is a key part of the Class EA process, and input will be sought throughout the study.

A second Public Consultation Centre is scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. This is a virtual (online) meeting. Please check this page again for log-in details to join.
