Climate change will impact us all in the coming years. You may have heard about the global impacts, but have you wondered how day-to-day life might be affected?
Oxford County’s 2023-2026 Strategic Plan identifies “Enhancing Environmental Sustainability” as one of three foundational pillars, with the specific goal of developing a Climate Action Plan in 2025. This plan will identify the risks that are most urgent for Oxford residents and will also bring forward project proposals to help mitigate these risks.
Throughout 2025, we'll be asking Oxford County residents, businesses and partners to share their thoughts on climate change risks and their ideas for the future health of our environment.

Wednesday, April 30, 2025 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Oxford County Library – Tillsonburg branch 2 Library Lane, Tillsonburg, Ontario
Crafts in this Climate encourages open conversations with residents while crafting on the day-to-day impacts of climate change and identify actions and initiatives they want to see. The session on April 30 will feature decorating planter pots and everyone will go home with native seeds and participants will be entered into a prize draw.
