Have your say

No matter where you live in Oxford County, the 2027 Budget survey is your chance to have a say on which services should be a priority next year.

Answers and comments from the survey let us know how well municipal services are understood, how they are valued, and which ones are a priority for residents. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It closes on August 31, 2026.

Depending where you live, you'll be asked about local area municipal services in your community (Blandford-Blenheim, East Zorra-Tavistock, Ingersoll, Norwich, South-West Oxford, Tillsonburg, Woodstock and Zorra), such as fire services, building and drainage services, parks and recreation, by-law enforcement and more.

You'll also be asked about services provided by Oxford County, such as roads and bridges, waste management, long-term care at Woodingford Lodge, paramedic services, human (social) services, water and wastewater, community planning and others.

Other ways to have a say

Feedback from the community helps municipalities understand what's important to residents now as well as what is needed for the future as communities grow. In addition to the survey, you can give feedback by:

  • directly contacting the staff representative for each participating local municipality from the list of contacts on the right.

About municipal taxes

If you own a residential property in Oxford County, you pay municipal property taxes. The amount collected is based on the value of your property as assessed by MPAC (Municipal Property Assessment Corporation). Your municipal taxes are made up of three parts:

  • the amount paid to your local area municipality
  • the amount paid to Oxford County
  • the amount paid to your designated local school board as set by the Government of Ontario

This survey focuses on services funded through your municipal taxes (i.e., it does not include federal, provincial or education taxes).
