Oxford Road 4 & 17 - Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock
Watermain extension project | Spring 2021 - Fall 2022 - COMPLETED
Update: The County’s water distribution infrastructure was expanded along Oxford Road 17, Oxford Road 4 and Lansdowne Avenue to accommodate growth in our communities. This work was mostly funded by development charges.

- Oxford Road 4: Oxford Road 17 to Devonshire Ave. (May 16 to June 2022)
- Oxford Road 17: 14th Line to Oxford Road 4 (June to September 2022)
- Lansdowne Avenue: Springbank Ave. to Oxford Road 4 (Final paving: May 2022)
Oxford County is extending existing water distribution system along Oxford Road 17, Oxford Road 4 and Lansdowne Avenue to accommodate development growth. Phase 1 construction included watermain and forcemain installation on Lansdowne Avenue, which was completed in 2021. Phase 2 will include watermain installation on Oxford Road 4 and Oxford Road 17.
Watermain installation begins on Oxford Road 4 in April, 2022, with the road remaining open while construction is underway. There will be lane restrictions and flagged traffic at intermittent locations within the construction limits.
Oxford Road 17 closes August 2 to through traffic during construction (local traffic will be permitted). A detour will be provided on 13th Line, Oxford Road 33, and 16th Line.
