Oxford County Council approved the 2021 Business Plans and Budget authorizing a general tax levy of $63.7 million, a 1.4% increase over 2020.Under the County’s current tax policy, this means the homeowner of an average residential property valued at $271,277 will pay $996 in property tax for County services in 2021, about $6 less than last year.Read more.

Oxford County Council’s 2021 Business Plan and Budget process begins Wednesday, November 18 with the first of three special budget meetings. Council will consider over the coming weeks a total proposed budget of $271 million, with $68.2 million to be funded through the County’s tax levy (the County share of property taxes). This marks a 2% increase over last year.
